Attorney Kate Cerrone Elected President of The Putnam Business Association (PBA)
Attorney Kate Cerrone
I am deeply honored to announce my election as the incoming President of the Putnam Business Association (PBA), taking the helm from Attorney Thomas Borner who has provided exceptional leadership over the past two years. At our recent holiday celebration, I was humbled to accept this position alongside our newly elected Vice President Sheila Frost, of The Courthouse Bar and Grille, and Secretary Laura Jones, of Smoke & Mirrors Beauty Loft.
The success of the PBA under Attorney Borner’s leadership has been remarkable, marked by consistently well-attended monthly meetings and networking events that demonstrate the incredible enthusiasm of our membership. The organization’s strong partnership with the Town of Putnam, including Mayor Barney Seney, his reliable and capable department heads, and the Putnam Police Department, has been instrumental in fostering a collaborative environment that benefits our entire community. This foundation of cooperation and mutual support will be essential as we move forward with our initiatives for local businesses.
As we look ahead to 2025, I am excited to build upon the strong foundation laid by the many previous leaders who continue to serve the organization and the dedicated volunteers, working together, not only to foster their own exceptional businesses, but with our membership to continue strengthening Putnam’s business community and fostering economic growth in our region.
As of the close of the year, the PBA is 210 members strong and hosts more than 10 events including ribbon cuttings and special projects throughout the year, serving to not only strengthen the town’s businesses through partnership and tourism, but also enhance the sense of community for residents. In the year ahead I look forward to continuing to build upon those efforts.
